Preparing for standardized tests can be intimidating. Test prep tutoring can improve your score! Summit Academy will help you break down your test, imparting math, reading comprehension, science, history, and writing concepts while also teaching test-taking strategies.

High School Test Prep

The various of test dates in the school year may leave your student with a hectic study schedule.

When preparing for the SAT and ACT exams, some approaches make more sense than others. Our goal is to find the right fit for you.

The ACT college readiness assessment is a standardized test for high school achievement and college admissions produced by ACT, a nonprofit of the same name. The ACT has four sections: Reading, English, Math, and Science. While similar to the SAT, the ACT tends to be more reading comprehension based.

The SAT, created by the College Board, is another entrance exam used by many colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The SAT has four sections: Reading, Writing and Language, and Math.

The PSAT (Preliminary SAT) is a standardized test program used to help students gauge their readiness for the SAT.

SAT Subject

The SAT Subject Test is designed to measure students’ knowledge in specific areas, such as biology, history, French, or math.

AP Exam

The AP Exam is the standardized exam taken at the end of the school year to measure how well students have mastered the content and skill of the AP course.

Middle and Elementary School Test Prep

For many students, the SSAT, ISEE, or CogAT forms their first experience with standardized testing.

By teaching students test contents, test-taking strategies, and anxiety-coping techniques, we help younger test-takers head into their exams prepared and confident.

The right test prep can set your student up for test-taking success for years to come.
